Yesterday Traci,Michael,Nathan,Olivia and myself took a boat (Jet Express) over to Put-in-Bay (a party town on an island in the middle of lake Erie for those of who may not know) We walked around for the most part, we looked at the gift shops I decided to buy a few beads, since most of anything I really wanted cost to much..I took Olivia onto the carosel she was all smiles thoughout the smile. In the evening,it started to rain, and it poured, needless to say we got wet, and had to take cover till it slowed down. After it rained we stayed about 3 more hours, tried to see the caves that were on the island, but well, both were closed for touring. As we were heading to where we board the boat,a girl had almost flashed herself for some giant beads a guy had first instinct Traci and I both had was to cover Michael and Nathan's eyes...When we recieved our ticket to head back to the main land,we orginally supposed to board the boat for 10:15pm,which meant we would have been home here in Toledo anywhere between 12-12:30am,maybe 1am.

Today,(sunday 17) went to the family reunion in Findlay. Every year we always have a white elephant to help raise money for the next year reunion. I took Michael and Nathan swimming, they seemed to have fun. Oh one more thing,it was a perfect day to have the reunion it wasn't to hot or to cold..it felt right.

Last night I couldn't get online to post this, because my modem was down all night,it went down sometime after the blackout. Yesterday when the blackout had happened I was at work, at first,I didn't see the light flicker, then when it flickers for the second time, they stayed out for what seems to be about 3-5 minutes. I had thought, why couldn't they have stayed off for the 45 minutes that I had left to go till my shift was done. I did listen to the news and watched tv for ideas of what had happened,it all leads to that there is now terrorism involved, which I personally believe.

What are some of anybody's thoughts that have had this blackout affected them in anyway comments..

Hey Heather-*waves* I made it on finally..*LOL*

Here is an update of the holiday weekend..
Friday July 4.
First I went to work,at 8am,we were slow for the most part with a couple rushes here and there, when it did rain. Then after work, went to my aunts for a cookout..After we ate my mom, sister and her oldest started to watch a movie (the Ring) then we stopped it long enough to head down the street at the park to watch the fireworks. Then we walked back and finished watching the movie. Afterwards went home about 12midnight,my neighbors were still setting off fireworks so I watched them..I came in afterwards, and went to sleep.

Saturday July 5
I woke up after I had 5 hours of sleep, and I was tired all day. I once again worked 8-11 making dough then go to the callcenter to answer and transfer calls till 4pm.Then I went to my mom's for dinner. Then after we ate at my moms, my sister and I went to her neighbors party, she herself had tons of food..and drinks..where I had one daiquri and a seagrams cooler in which my sister had bought, also while at my mom's I had a marquirita. Then I came home, for the rest of the night.

Sunday July 6
I woke up,about 10am,went to the grocery store to pick up stuff for lunch, for our daytrip to Sandusky to to a wave action pool.

the weekend

Well my weekend in Cincinnati, well technically it was Mason,Oh where we stayed was fun, we left on Friday morning got to our hotel at about 1:45pm,we got ourselves settled in then head down to the pool for a couple hours, when we started to get hungary we went to eat at a mexican restaunt, after eating we decided to drive into Cincinnati to see if we could maybe find a shopping center or the Riverfront,we found the exit for the Riverfront, but couldn't actually find any signs out to get there..but I did see where the stadiums are located.

On Saturday,we went to Kings Island which was a lot of fun,but oh my boy did my feet and body hurt after the long day.I rode the "Drop Zone" "The Racer" "Son of Beast" and "The Beast" also I rode "Congo Falls" which is a water ride. I wanted to ride "The Vortex" and the "Face-Off" but both of which at least 1 1/2 hour wait,I will not wait in line that long to ride one rollercoaster when I could be waiting in line for others. Later,in the afternoon we checked out the waterpark which contained waterslides and a waveaction pool. Then after the waterpark we rode couple more rides "Scooby Doo haunted castle" and "Rugrats runaway raptor" then we went to ride the elevator up to the top of the Eiffel Tower, well ok it wasn't the real thing..but a repilica of it. then by that time it was time for the fireworks and the park to close. Afterwards it was time to head back to the hotel.

On Sunday,we headed back to Cincinnati to the Zoo,where we at first missed our exit and ended up crossing the bridge over the river into Kentucky,so we head to turn around and head back in.When we did find the exit to the Zoo,my sister and I both realised that we both read the exit number wrong..but once we found it we found the Zoo with no problem. We saw the Manatee exhibit, which was the first thing that we saw, then worked our way through most of the zoo,we didn't see all of it,because we all were tired and sore for the day before. Then after the zoo we headed home, arriving home at about 8pm.
